Boogers.
My plan for this week was to head up to Columbus Thursday night after work, spend the night with my family, and then head up to West Lafayette Friday morning (thereby avoiding the bulk of the Friday evening Super Bowl traffic through Indy). Obviously, this would require taking a vacation day on Friday. No big deal, right?
Well, the continuation of the (neverending) strategic planning meeting was supposed to happen on Thursday, but the ED just sent an email out saying that she has an appointment Thursday afternoon that she can’t miss, so would it be alright if we moved the meeting to Friday instead?
Since it’s practically impossible to find a time that works for everyone, I’m 95% sure that I will end up just biting the bullet and staying. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, but I really have a bad feeling about driving straight through Indy at 6:30 or 7 on the Friday of Super Bowl weekend.
